AUBURN, Ala.- Closures are expected on Boykin Street and Mary Brooks Drive this week while a contractor completes tie-ins to the new water main that was installed as part of the Martin Luther King Drive Streetscape Project.

Weather permitting, Boykin Street will be closed at Martin Luther King Drive on Tuesday, Nov. 28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mary Brooks Drive will be closed at Martin Luther King Drive on Wednesday, Nov. 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Traffic control measures will be in place to detour motorists around the closures. Drivers are advised to use caution in these areas and to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
